Dance Of Phoenix

Which has a historical story, the Phoenix is an immortal bird associated with Greek mythology that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor, which has been considered similar to the status of women. In order to define the harmonious movements that the model has made, I have attempted to unite the woman’s status with the Pheonix and to express the fact that the woman and her essence are of nature. It is the beauty that has to be properly understood. I have also intended to convey this concept to the audience, that eliminating a woman's status is like destroying the Earth and existence. GRACE

This is a creative shoot produced together with a dancer. My work mostly evolves around action and movement; Talent Agustina Basso was exquisite understanding the project and in the process of creating unique and uncanny moves, thus contributing to an exceptional quality. GRACE

In Transit

In Transit is exploring the relationship of bringing a physical body to my illustrations. Within both you can see they are inspired by movement, body forms, emotions and what it means to reclaim our natural instincts. This series is a collaboration between me and choreographer and contemporary ballet dancer, Dandara Amorim Veiga. In Transit is an ongoing project and with each collaboration we create something unique. This project holds space for individuals to be themselves and add their own story to this project.
