One day I discovered I had died, oil on canvas 60x60 cm, 2021
This painting ironically faces the issue of death, in fact the artwork has a nail which passes through the young woman’s left eye. The canvas is literally skewered by nail, instead of being simply hung, so it is halfway between a classic oil painting and an installation. Furthermore, the woman is depicted on a light background so that the colours, in particular the red of her blood, easily stands out.
